NO WATCH LEAGUE

In April 2006 we launched a new series of 10 races, 2 per evening, over shorter distances, all between 1 mile and 5k. The object is to predict your own finishing time and run without a watch. The winner is the person who finishes nearest to their predicted time, either faster or slower.

Points are awarded as follows:

1st place....6 points

2nd place..4 points

3rd place...2 points

In addition extra points are awarded to runners that finish within 15 seconds (+ or -) of their predicted time as follows: 0 seconds difference... 16 points

1 second difference... 15 points, 2 seconds difference...14 points etc. down to 15 seconds difference...1 point

All races are based at The Plough Inn at Hollym on Tuesday evenings at 6:30

£1 per race to go towards prizes at the end of the season. Non members welcome.
